More freezer meals

I actually planned to make more things but was asked to help clean out the old apartment so I only made 4/6 recipes I wanted to make. I was asked to find recipes to use up the boxes of couscous we found in the cabinets so most of my recipes included couscous.

Here is where I found the recipe for Cheesy Enchilada Couscous Bake.

I found the Couscous Chicken Soup recipe here.

Italian Chicken + Peppers recipe I found here

Birthday

Started the day off by doing this hair style in her hair this morning.

Then we went to the mall and "A", the Mom of the family, wanted to get her ears pierced for her birthday.

We went to a grocery store and I saw the biggest red pepper I have ever seen!

I also saw the biggest cheeses!

With a recipe the birthday Mom had in mind I was able to make it for her and even made these super cute strawberry flowers.

Freezer Meals

I was asked to make a few freezer meals as we are moving and don't always have time to make things. I made 9 meals in total. I found this great site that had five recipes and a shopping list so I made all five of those meals. Here is the website. All the things from that site I will put a *

*Stuffed Green Peppers

*Penne and Peas Alfredo Casserole

*Southwestern Macaroni Casserole

With the topping

*Vegetable Soup

*Chunky Marinara Sauce

Lemon Herb Chicken  I used chicken instead of Pork which was what the recipe called for.

The protest

Started the day doing a Mermaid Braid following this tutorial . Her hair is a bit too short and a bit too thin to get the full effect. But I think it still turned out pretty good!

Then we went to the bus stop and saw a sign, I'm not sure what it said but it said something about the bus not running at this stop for the day. Earlier we had seen tractors going by and it turned out it was a protest. They were blocking the roads and no one could pass. We decided to walk to the mall and with the kids it took about 35-45 minutes.

Getting some cotton candy and free balloon animals.

Getting home was very challenging not being able to speak French. We saw the bus that would normally take us home so we hopped on. It went a different way then normal and didn't come close to where we live. Thankfully I had walked by where we were with Smokey before and was able to find our way home.

Waiting at home for us was Chicken Cacciatore that I had started in the morning. I used this recipe that my Mom had pinned for me a few days ago

It was a bit burnt but still tasted good!
